Bliss

A night alone,
Just you and me.
What does this night hold for us?
A night of passion
And intoxicating love
That fills the heart,
The Mind,
The body in its entirety.

Who knew sitting together,
Cuddled together on the couch,
Would turn into something more?
Slowly, his hand searches for mine.
Eventually, he finds it
Sending electricity all over my body.

Next I know,
His lips are slowly moving on mine,
His breath gently brushes my cheek,
His hands aren't in mine anymore,
They search for more, much more.
This overpowering bliss
Has my mind
My body hungry,
Just as his is.

This bliss of deep love
Has us lost in forever.
We are so lost in this forever
as we sink deeper and deeper
into the couch cushions
That the world could end,
And we wouldn't even notice.
